Young woman with braces in dental chair

If you or your child have misaligned teeth, you might think that straightening them will only provide a cosmetic improvement. That couldn’t be further from the truth! Perfectly aligned teeth are much easier to clean than crooked and crowded ones, meaning orthodontics cannot only help the smile look better, but be healthier as well! To learn more about our orthodontic treatments and which one might be best for you or your child, contact us today.

Why Choose Sierra Dental Care for Orthodontics?

  • Child & adult orthodontics both available in-house
  • Invisalign: Straighter teeth without metal braces
  • Insurance accepted and maximized

Traditional Orthodontics

With traditional metal braces, a wire is run across each row of teeth that is held in place by metal brackets, and they apply a steady force that slowly shifts the teeth into their correct positions. Braces are still by far the most effective orthodontic solution available today, able to correct both crooked teeth and misaligned bites with relative ease. Thankfully, the brackets are much smaller and the wires are thinner than anything you might have seen growing up, giving them a subtler appearance our patients certainly appreciate!

Invisalign® Clear Braces

For image-conscious adults who are interested in straightening their teeth, metal braces are no longer their only option. Invisalign uses a series of thin, crystal-clear aligner trays to gently move the teeth, and they are so discreet-looking that only you and Dr. Haddad will know that you’re wearing them. You’ll be able to smile with complete confidence during treatment, and whenever you want to eat or brush your teeth, you can simply slip the trays off until you are done!
